Project 28: A Charter for faster, more certain property transactions is a bold commitment to drive lasting change in a property market that is slow and inefficient. Our mission is to bring certainty to how we buy and sell homes by setting a new industry target of 28 days from sale agreed to exchange. For the first time a working group of 23 of the UK’s leading mortgage lenders, brokers, estate agents, conveyancers and property data providers have launched a Charter mapping out eight commitments to streamline the process for the benefit of all. Together, we’re driving meaningful change to ensure the industry works better.
