Kevin Brown
Following a short career in the British Army, Kevin has been involved in various commercial business activities as part of Anglian Water Group. Kevin has been instrumental in setting up new commercial ventures and in the past 23 year been involved in areas of the UK conveyancing sector as well as responsible for the development and strategic growth of online information services and insurance businesses.
Kevin was the Chair and Director of Drainage & Water Searches Network (DWSN) since inception in 2014 to 2021; a membership organisation representing companies responsible for the national delivery of compiling full and complete responses to the Law Society’s CON29DW Enquiry.

Nick has spent 23 years working in the legal services market with the last 20 years being spent in the legal searches market serving conveyancers. Prior to joining the NLIS Hub in January 2017 as the Hub Director, he was the Group Business Development Director with Searchflow. He has held a range of market-facing and service development roles at Landmark Information Group and Lexis Nexis, the legal publishers, as well as TM Property where he spent over ten years. Nick graduated from Warwick Business School in 2008 with an MBA.

Chris has spent his career in the land and property due-diligence market, occupying roles across different sectors including conveyancing and environmental consultancy. Originally an environmental consultant by trade, Chris has developed a deep understanding of the environmental risk management sector including risk transfer solutions such as remediation or insurance. Through heading up the Environment & Mapping divisions of Landmark Chris also shaped and delivered solutions for leading architects, developers, advisory consultancies and surveyors. Most recently, Chris has taken up the role of Managing Director of Landmark Legal & Argyll Environmental which delivers market leading property due-diligence to the UK conveyancing sector.

Stuart has worked in the environmental sector for 30 years, across several nationally significant development projects, including some of the most complex contaminated sites on the HS2 route through London. Feeling frustrated at the lack of data related innovation in the consultancy market at the time, Stuart joined Groundsure in 2003. As Groundsure’s Operations Director, a business focused on optimising the delivery of data intelligence solutions into the UK property market, the role allows Stuart to apply his data quality first ethos. Stuart is also a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Land Data is a Community Interest Company appointed by government to manage and regulate the National Land Information Service (NLIS) and its contracts. This makes NLIS the only regulated electronic land and property searches portal and the official gateway to every local authority in England and Wales.
Land Data's mission is to improve and speed up housing transactions. It does this by working closely with a range of government and industry partners to advise, educate and promote the use of authoritative data and, specifically, local authority searches. Land Data plays a key convening role for local authority Local Land Charges Officers, delivering the only training courses for the profession, managing the annual LLC Training & Development Event with the LLCI, hosting a dedicated online forum, and running the Local Land Charges Awards for Excellence.
